Notes: Muscat of Alexandria is an ancient grape variety with a history much longer than that of classics like Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot. It is thought to have originated in Egypt, thousands of years ago when humans first began crafting wines. In Tarija, this Muscat gets plenty of high altitude sun to express the full range of fruit and flowers it is known for, while at night it is given the chance to rest in chilly temperatures, providing finesse, balance, and structure.
